Lynn moved to Forney when he was 6 years old. He attended Forney schools and was a proud member of the Class of 1979. He was employed at Hancock Vending in Forney until his diagnosis with brain cancer in November, 2009. Lynn loved living in Forney and was an active member of the community. He worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make the schools and parks in Forney places that our children could thrive. He was a loving coach to many boys and girls over the years through FYA soccer and baseball and cherished every child he coached. His legacy will live on in his own children and all those he worked with and influenced over the years here in Forney. Lynn fought a valiant fight for the last 16 months with brain cancer. Through it all he kept his same sweet spirit and his sense of humor. Our family made the best of his situation and will cherish the time we had to enjoy Texas Ranger Baseball, Dallas Mavericks and his beloved NASCAR races.
