Robert Lee Linebaugh

Robert entered into his eternal heavenly rest on July 22, 2019 in Dallas, Texas.His final days were spent surrounded by family.He was a baseball coach and an umpire with the Mesquite Baseball Association for over 20 years as well as a coach for the Hornet Football team with the Mesquite Pee Wee Football Association.Robert has been a member of Pathway of Life Church for over 40 years and he loved shaking hands and welcoming people to the church on Sunday mornings.He was a great Christian man and lived life serving others. Robert was born on August 28, 1935 in Marceline, MO to Harvey Richard and Lottie Charlotte Linebaugh. Following his graduation from Marceline High School, Robert moved to Texas to live with his brother, Harvey.While living in Seven Points, TX with his brother a beautiful girl had car trouble on the country road were his brother lived.That day he met the love of his life, Patsy Yvonne Johnson.He started married life stationed in Tacoma, WA where he proudly served his country with the United States Army. After his discharge he started a job with Sears Roebuck and Co. as a repairman and worked for them for 53 years.He has repaired countless washing machines, dryers, refrigerators, air conditioners, etc. for friends, family and the church. If you called him he would come day or night to help with any repair problem. Robert was preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Patsy Yvonne Linebaugh; his parents, Harvey Richard and Lottie Charlotte Linebaugh; his brother’s, Orville Dale Linebaugh and wife Lois Marie, Harvey Edward Linebaugh and wife Marceita, Isaac William Linebaugh and wife Ila Faye, and his sisters, Letha Mae Linebaugh and Lottie Viola Linebaugh. Robert is survived by his children, Carol Lockhart and husband Herman, Mark Linebaugh and wife Sondra, Randall Linebaugh and wife Susan, Susan Betts and husband Stephen; Grandchildren, Christina Higgins and husband Jonathan, December Barnes and husband Kris, James Langle,Randall Linebaugh II and wife Tiffany, Ross Linebaugh, Kameron Milner and husband Stephen, Terrius Betts, Patrick Betts, Rylan Linebaugh, Kendric Linebaugh, Stephen Betts, Jr., Robert Linebaugh, Xzavior Betts, Gavin Betts and Stephanie Betts; Great grandchildren, Preston Langle, Alyssa Higgins, Savanna Langle, Karissa Linebaugh, Randall Linebaugh III, Karson Barnes, Devon Caputo-Linebaugh, Austin Langle, Addison Barnes, Patrice Betts Turner, Sariyah Betts, Aliya Betts, Teniyah Betts-Gatson, Jayde Betts-Turner and Byrdee Jane Linebaugh.
