Robert Michael Harris This world was blessed with this beautiful man on May 8, 1969 and taken home to soon to be with our Lord on December 28, 2010. Rob the most wonderful husband, daddy, son, brother, friend, coach, and Marine. Every thing he was taught about being the man he was, was by his dad Billy Gibson and he implemented it in everything he did every day. He was a all star linebacker for Ada High School. He was strong and tough. You didn't want to be the one holding the ball when he was coming. He served his country in the Marine Corp. He is a veteran of Desert Storm. His troop was the first ground troop to enter this war and he was very proud to be part of it. He was the adoptive son to one of the most beautiful families I know. The Gibsons. His dad Billy (who he couldn't wait to get to heaven to see) taught him how to be a man and a father and try to have patience. His mom Patti who he adored showed her baby weezer how to be kind and gentle. He had two brothers. Will his best friend and he is married to Diana and their two sons are Tyler and Josh. His baby brother Ken and his daughter Payton. He loved being around his brothers and Rob couldn't wait to spend time with them even if it was for a moment. He loved his Granny Mabel because he was her boy and he was so proud to be able to show his Granny off. His cousin Amy(Amos) who was more like an annoying little sister, but still would fight for and her wonderful husband Brian (B) that he spent time with just hanging out. He adored Bryce gene but it made Rob sad sometimes because he wished our boys were still little. Chad boy he was very proud of the man you were becoming. Honored to be apart of Brookes and your wedding and bring us baby Harper. I met my soul mate, my best friend, truly the love of my life, and sometimes the pain in my butt 17 years ago . He step into an instant family with two girls ages 4 and 2. Jordan who is completely like Rob stubborn as a mule but they had their own bond and was a proud daddy watching you play football and tearing those boys up. Lauren as we all know as the princess could just give a little pout and instantly he would give her what she wanted. When we were at your game in Paris he looked at me and said "she is such an amazing volleyball player." He was just wowed by you. In October 1995 we were blessed with our first son and his first child Justin Reed Harris and all I could see was how he instantly fell in love. We talked recently about him and he was overly proud of the man his boy was becoming. He was such a proud daddy watching Justin on the football and baseball field. It would make him laugh to watch other coaches coach you because he already knew how you were. Then February 1999 we had our second baby Dylan Zachary Harris and once again I saw his beautiful eyes fill with so much love and how he could be so blessed for a second time. He got to finally be just a parent this year and not coaching to watch Dyl play football and baseball this year. He made a comment to me saying how proud and happy he was to finally get to watch how talented you are. He was so amazed by you. He couldn't stop bragging about your abilities and how you conduct yourself on the field. You both will never understand how amazed and proud your daddy was of both of you. Robert you have touched so many lives more than you know. My mom (Nana), my sister (Neenie), her children Jr,Nathaniel,Brit,Whit, there dad Uncle Yale. Your friends, Eddie,Kevin,Paul and so many more you can't even imagine. You have also changed many lives of so many young men you have coached football, baseball or even just the kids who hang out with us at the house or as your brother puts it the Jesus house and inspired them to want to be better young men. I deeply miss you and Love you so much, my heart is shattered but I know your in a better place and I know I will be in your arms once again. You are my keeper of the stars.
