Robert Frank Fike

FIKE, Robert Frank ofRowlett, born June 21, 1943 in Washington, DC. Passed away August 4, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer. Affectionately known as Cowboy Bob, he graduated from Somerset High School before serving in the U.S. Navy, after which he attended Penn State. He was known for his terrific sense of humor, generosity and zest for life.Early morning golfer, midday bull rider and late night three stepper, he loved life and lived it to its fullest. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Oran Paul and Violet.He is survived by his loving wife, Lynn; his children, Jimmy, Sheila and Elliott; his siblings, Caroline, Jim, John and Chic; daughters-in-law, Lisa and Maggie; family members, Bobbie and Dudley, Christina, J. D. and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The family wishes to express overwhelming gratitude to their many friends, family and care-givers. Memorial celebration will be held1:00PM Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at Eastridge Park Christian Church, 2701 Town East Blvd., Mesquite, TX. 75150, with Bro. Dan Carroll officiating.
