Robert "Bob" Elmer Kephart, Jr.born in Gadsden Alabama on April 8, 1942 to the parents Robert and Mildred Kephart, Sr. After moving to the Dallas Texas area he graduated from Richardson High School in 1960 and attended Tarlton State College and Southern Methodist University School of Business. He worked in different positions and capacities for North Haven Gardens and Wolfe Nurseries. He went into pharmaceutical sales for OJF Pharmaceuticals after his first heart attack at the age of 28. Years later he left pharmaceutical sales and re-enetered the nusery business with a new start up company called Calloways Nusery and acheived his Texas Master Certified Nurseryman's certification. He lovingly worked for Calloways off and on for nearly 20 plus years at different locations and departments and literally touched the yards of many of Dallas, Collin and Denton Counties both residential and commerical clients for his company and and on behalf Calloway's Nurseries. Bob's loves and interests were his wife, football, Nascar (Jeff Gordon #24 was his favorite,) cars, and his surviving "Sugar" a faithful black lab. Holidays were always loved by Bob with Christmas being his favorite especailly when celebrated with family. He collected watches, baseball caps and his favorite restaurant was Abuelo's Mexican Restaurant. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and uncles Carl, Ralph & Marvin. He is survived by is loving and supporting spouse of 42 years Betty Lou Kephart. Bobis survived by twosons and five grand children. Chris Kephart of Highland Village Texas, his wife Kim and their two children Michael and Ashley. Kirk Kephart of Lewisville Texas his wife Angie and their three children Taylor, Bailey, and Keagan Kephart. He had one sister Nancy Kephart, an "Aunt Kitty" and Cousin James and Sharon of the Gadsden Alabama area.
