DICKERMAN, Robert Morris (Bob) born February 19, 1925, to Augustus Scott Dickerman and Samantha Stanley Dickerman of Sherman, TX. He married Kathryn Lorell Neinast on July 14, 1946 in Denison, TX.Mr. Dickerman attended Sherman schools, Bible Baptist Seminary in Ft. Worth, TX. and Criswell Seminary in Dallas, TX.He worked for Frisco Railroad in Sherman as well as General Dynamics, Chance Vaught, Texas Metal in Beaumont and Bell Helicopter.He also ran for state senator in the 1950's.Bob surrendered to the Gospel Ministry on December 2, 1958 and was ordained by Fielder Road Baptist Church in Arlington, TX.He served as a church builder and pastored churches in Indiana, California and Texas.He loved animals and rescued many homeless cats and dogs. Bob is survived by wife, Kathryn (Kay) of Mesquite; brother, F.H. (Tubby) Dickerman & wife, Marjorie of Pottsboro; sons, Bob Dickerman & wife, Nelda of Mesquite, David Dickerman & wife, Carol of Plano, Mike Dickerman of Alvarado, Stan Dickerman & wife, Deanna of Mesquite; daughter, Penny Miller & husband Nick of Richardson; 13 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his mother and father, four brothers and three sisters.His family would like to thank Castle Manor Nursing Home and American Hospice for their care. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00PM - 8:00PM. Funeral service will be at 2:00PM Wednesay February 1, 2006 at Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church in Dallas, TX.
