On August 1, 2024 at 8:50pm, Robert "Bob" Russell Chandler, age 79, left this mortal world while in his sleep to join his beautiful wife, Jo Lynn Chandler, in Heaven and to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
In his time here with us, Bob was many things. Among them, he...
* served in the U.S. Army as a Military Police officer
* was a Vietnam Veteran
* was an avid Radio Technician and used his skills in military, law enforcement, corporate, and civilian applications
* was an avid HAM radio operator ['H'obby of 'AM'ateur radio]
* was an electrical engineer
* retired as a Sergeant from the Dallas County Sheriff's Department
Bob is survived by his son, Commodore McLeod Chandler and wife Bonnie, and their children and families;
Commodore Michael Chandler and wife Staci, along with their sons Commodore Eliott, Sheldon Leo Tate, Liam Uriah, and their daughter, Joanna Gabrielle;
Kaylin Alyssa Showalter and husband Christopher, along with their daughters, Evalyn Grace and Ivy Quinzel;
Christopher McLeod Chandler and wife Sarah, along with their son Lucas Tobias;
Emily Rose Stratz and husband Daniel, along with their daughter, Maeve Enola.
