Robert Edward Bleakley

Robert Edward Bleakley of Dallas, born April 7, 1932, passed away March 6, 2016. Graduated from Buckner Orphan Home in 1950. He retired after 32 years with the USPS.He was a faithful member of Lakeside Baptist Church where he served as Deacon. Enjoyed doing yard work, treasure hunting, working with Buckner Orphanage and being with his family and friends. Preceded in death by parents, Elizabeth Yates Hall and Crawford R. Bleakley. Survived by wife of 61 years, LawanaBleakley; brother, David Bleakley of Groves, TX.; sister, Doris Elkins of Webster, TX; very special cousin, Peggy Smith of Bastrop. LA. Visitation Tuesday evening at New Hope from 5:00PM - 7:00PM. Service will be 1:30PM Wednesday March 9, 2016 at Lakeside Baptist Church, 9150 Garland Rd., Dallas, TX.
