Robert John Alms,

ALMS, Robert (Bob) of Mesquite, born March 20, 1945, in Lubbock, TX, passed away December 27, 2008. Bob served in the U. S. Air Force during the Viet Nam war. He was building engineer for Turley Law. Bob shared a passion with Ron for classic cars. Preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Alms. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Patricia; sons, Robert Alms, Jr. and Ron Alms & wife, Susan; grandsons, Luke and James Alms; father, Albert Alms; sister, Mary Ann Schroeder & husband, William; mother-in-law, Anna Marie Menger; brother-in-law, Alfred Menger, Jr. and a host of close relatives and friends. Service will be 10:00AM Wednesday December 31, 2008 at Divine Mercy of Our Lord Catholic Church, 1585 E. Cartwright Rd., Mesquite, TX. 75181. Visitation and Rosary will be at the funeral home Tuesday from 6:00PM " 8:00PM.
