SMITH,Rita Elaine of Forney, born August 26, 1961, passed away May 17, 2003, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Survived by daughter, Tanya Morgan & husband, Tylor; father & step-mother, Chester & Bettie Gatewood of Fruitvale, TX.; mother, Violet Rawlinson of Mabank; brothers, Robert Wayne Gatewood & David Earl Gatewood & wife, Karen; sister, Sandra DeLoach & husband, Michael; niece, Rachell Gatewood; nephews, Sean Deloach & Jacob Deloach; many other extended family members and numerous friends. Graveside services will be 2:00PM Sunday, May 18, 2003, at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Forney, Texas, with Bro. Randy Butler officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to M D Anderson Cancer Center of Houston or the American Cancer Society/Melanoma Research.
