Richard "Ricky" Willard

Richard "Ricky" Wayne Willard, age 67, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was born on September 27, 1956 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, to parents Richard and Dotti.

Ricky worked in concrete service; most recently with the Bee Line Concrete Service in Lavon, Texas as a mixer and driver.

Happily married for 42 years, Ricky's love for his wife, Dawne, and his family, was evident in every word he spoke. And if you knew Ricky, he had lots of words! He loved going on cruises, riding motorcycles, and spending time at home with family and friends. He was known as the ultimate entertainer and prankster.

We are forever grateful that our Lord Jesus Christ gave us the funniest, coolest, and greatest man in the universe to our family. He was fiercely loved and treasured as a husband, father, papaw, brother, son, nephew, uncle, brother-in-law, son-in-law, and friend.

In addition to his beloved wife, Dawne, Ricky is survived by his sons, Chris Willard, Patrick Willard and fiance' Alex; daughter, Jennifer Willard; mother, Dotti Wade; brother, Randy Willard and wife Debbie; mother-in-law, Suzi Gardner; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends who will all greatly miss him.

Services for Ricky Willard will be held on Saturday, July 27. 2024 at Community Life Church in Forney, TX (204 FM 1641 - Forney, TX 75126). Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. and a Celebration of Life will start at 10:00 a.m.. Burial will follow at New Hope Memorial Gardens in Sunnyvale, TX, 500 E. Hwy 80, Sunnyvale, TX 75182.
