THOMPSON, Richard Perry of Mesquite/Sunnyvale area, a loving husband, father and grandfather passed away July 3, 2009. He was born December 18, 1926 in Duke, OK. He was preceded in death by son, Ricky; sisters & brothers, Helen Varcasia, Mary Billion, George Thompson, Burgess Thompson, Homer Thompson, Sanford Thompson. Survived by wife, Opal; son, Randy; grandsons, Eric & Zach; daughters-in-law, Jean & Cheryl. Three half sisters, Betty Birmingham, Rita Tubbs, Tommie Ruth Duncan. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6:00PM - 8:00PM. Graveside service will be held 10:00AM Tuesday July 7, 2009 at Restland Memorial Park, Dallas, TX.
