Survived wife of 42 years: Betty Knott; Children:Richard Knott II & wife, Elizabeth, Joanna Mitchell & husband, Josh; Grandchildren: Michael Knott, Chelsea, Jayson & Zander Tramel, Joshua, Jacey & Austin Mitchell, Janessa, Ashley & Jordan Hutchins, Sara McCabe; Great Grandchildren: Larry Wayne Ashley, IV, Lillian Hutchins; Brother-in-law: Steven Wright & wife, Dallas; Numerous nieces & nephews. Service will be 10:00AM Saturday January 7, 2012 at The Crossing Baptist Church, 1060 Clay Mathis, Mesquite, TX. 75181. Family will receive friends at the church Saturday morning from 9:00AM - 10:00AM. Interment will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Scurry, TX.
