JACKSON, Richard Dale of Forney, born August 8, 1963, passed away June 7, 2009. Survived by wife, Delaine Jackson, children, Nikki Jackson (11), Ryan Jackson (8); parents: Noel & Mary Jackson; brother, Steve Jackson; many other loving family and friends. Family will receive friends for a visitation on Thursday, June 11th at 6:00PM. The memorial service will follow the visitation beginingat 7:00PM at New Hope Funeral Home. RICK GRADUATED FROM QUITMAN HIGH SCHOOL IN 1981 IN QUITMAN, TX.HE RECEIVED HIS BACHELORS DEGREE IN INDUSTRIAL ARTS FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT TYLER SEVERAL YEARS LATER. WHEN HE WAS 17, HE BEGAN HIS MUSICAL CAREER BY PLAYING DRUMS WITH A GROUP CALLED TEXAS HARD COUNTRY.HE CONTRIBUTED TO HIS COLLEGE COSTS BY PLAYING WITH THEM ON WEEKENDS. DURING THIS TIME, HE BEGAN TO LEARN THE CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS BY WORKING AT DIFFERENT PLACES. WHEN HE GRADUATED FROM COLLEGE, HE BEGAN HIS CAREER IN COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION AND COMMERCIAL INTERIOR WORK. AFTER SEVERAL SUCCESSFUL YEARS WITH COMPANIES IN THE DALLAS AREA, HE FORMED A PARTNERSHIP TO CREATE A COMPANY CALLED INTERIOR DESIGN GROUP (IDG), INC. LOCATED IN RICHARDSON. DUE TO RICKS OUTGOING PERSONALITY AND IN-DEPTH KNOWLEDGE IN THE COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION AREA, MANY CLOSE BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS AND LIFETIME FRIENDS WERE ESTABLISHED. IN 2007, RICK FORMED HIS OWN COMPANY, CALLED AMERICAN FACILITY CONCEPTS, INC. AND CONTINUED IN THIS BUSINESS UNTIL HIS PASSING. HE ALSO CONTINUED HIS LOVE OF MUSIC THROUGHOUT HIS LIFE CREATING ANOTHER BAND NAMED JAXX AND BUILT A STATE OF THE ART RECORDING STUDIO CALLED SUNDANCE STUDIOS .DURING THE PAST FEW YEARS, SOME OF THE SAME GROUP HE BEGAN HIS MUSIC CAREER WITH, HAVE WORKED WITH HIM AT THE STUDIO.HE AND LONGTIME FRIEND B.J. RYAN COLLABORATED AS THE GROUP JACKSON-RYAN TO CREATE A BRILLIANT ALBUM NAMED PROJECT ONE .IN ADDITION TO HIS BEING A VERY TALENTED MUSICIAN, RICK WAS AN ACCOMPLISHED SONG-WRITER AND SINGER. HIS GREATEST ACCOMPLISHMENT, HOWEVER, WAS THE BIRTH OF HIS TWO PRECIOUS CHILDREN HE LEAVES BEHIND; NIKKI AND RYAN. RICK WAS A GENEROUS PERSON; ALWAYS READY TO HELP FRIENDS AND FAMILY AND SOMETIMES, EVEN STRANGERS. HE LOVED HIS FAMILY, WIFE AND CHILDREN VERY MUCH.HE HAD A RELATIONSHIP WITH HIS PERSONAL GOD AND BELIEVED THAT HE WOULD GUIDE HIM WHEN HE MADE HIS JOURNEY TO HEAVEN. HE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED AND MOURNED BY ALL WHO KNEW HIM.
