Richard Lee Davis

DAVIS, Richard Lee of Midland, born March 10, 1937, passed away Monday February 27, 2012 in Forney, TX. with his family by his side. Lee worked for the Texas Dept. of Transportation as an Engineering Technician and retired in 1996.He won several safety awards while he was employed by the highway department. When he retired he started wood carving with the Mustang Draw Woodcarvers of Midland, TX. He also loved fishing, camping, rock hunting and baseball. Most of all he loved his family. Lee made sure he saw at least one game of any sport his grandchildren were involved in. His great wish was to see all of his grandchildren come to know the Lord. Lee will be greatly missed. Family will receive friends Thursday March 1, 2012 at Crestview Baptist Church in Midland, TX. from 1:00PM - 2:00PM. Service will be 2:00PM Thursday March 1, 2012 at Crestview Baptist Church, 301 N. Loop 250, West, Midland, TX. 79703. Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Park, Midland, TX.
