Rhonda Simpson

Rhonda Simpson, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away on November 14th, 2023 at the age of 64 in Mesquite, TX.

Rhonda, the middle child of seven, was born in Waco, TX on August 19, 1959, to Nadine Daily. She and her older siblings attended Methodist Children's home in Waco, where she eventually graduated from. She established her career at Malones Food Store, where she faithfully worked for 36 years. Rhonda took great pride in her work and found joy in serving the community with a smile and heartfelt conversation.

Rhonda married Junior Simpson on December 8, 1984 in Mesquite TX where they spent 39 loving years together. The couple were blessed with two children, Alex and Chad. Rhonda's family meant the world to her, and she was always proud to share their accomplishments with others.

Rhonda had an abundance of interest and hobbies, but she was best known for her love of sunflowers, crafting, and spending time with her girlfriends on the weekends, including their spontaneous trips.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her mother, Nadine Daily; sister, Carol Page; and her son, Alex Simpson.

She is survived by her husband, Junior Simpson, sister, Janet Daily; brother, David Daily; son, Chad and wife Lisa Simpson; grandchildren, Colton Simpson, Hayleigh and husband Jordan Hinton; great-grandchildren, Brynlee Hinton. Nieces; Rian Daily, Stacey Page, Nephews; Nathan Elwood and John Thomas Rusk.
