Remonia Lea Davis

DAVIS, Remonia Lea of Mesquite, born February 22, 1943, was called home by the Lord on November 6, 2010 after a short illness. She was born to Ona Mae & Ben Funderburk in Commerce, TX. She lived in Mesquite most of her life and graduated from Mesquite High School in 1961. She is survived by Kenneth Davis, her husband of 49 years and 3 sons, Ken Davis, Jr. of Dallas, Jeff Davis & wife, Tricia of Rowlett and Tommy Davis of Mesquite, TX; grandchildren, Jerod Davis of Ft. Worth and Jennifer Davis of Arlington; sister, Patricia Kindle of Van, TX.; brother Jerry Funderburk & wife, Barbara of Royse City, TX. Remonia was a longtime employee of Mesquite I.S.D.; she touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed by all. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Lung Association or the American Heart Association. Service will held 3:30PM Wednesday November 10, 2010 at New Hope Funeral Home. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00PM " 8:00PM.
