Passed away peacefully in his home on December 5, 2018 Proceeded in death by: Parents: James and Oney McClatchey Brothers: James, Dean, Dale and Ralph McClatchey Sisters: Lois Means Survived by: Wife of 60 plus years: Bobbie Jean McClatchey Children: Laurie (Subi) George, Bill (Meri) McClatchey and Cori Peterson Grandchildren: Tasha (Tony) Orlando, Nick (Chau) George Great Grandchildren: Angelina and Julianna Orlando, Troy and Ralph George Nieces and Nephews: Yvonne Johnson, Tim Means, Monica Hanson, Barbara Rohde, Beverly Raulston and Teresa, Christy, Brad McClatchey and others. Born in Meadow Grove, Nebraska. Served in the Korean War as a U.S. Marine, Retired from ADM in Lincoln after 28 years. Lived in Lincoln, Nebraska with his wife and children, later moved to Mesquite, Texas. Members of Sheridan Lutheran Church in Lincoln and Our Savior Lutheran Church in Mesquite. Volunteered as a Boy Scout leader, blood donor, church usher, church property manager, and worked with underprivileged children. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
