Raymond Leo Cargile

CARGILE, Raymond L. 71, of Forney, lost his battle with cancer on February 10, 2006. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Marlene J. Cargile; his son, Race Cargile of Elk Grove CA. & his wife, Anne; his daughter, Cana Duffy of Lake Highlands TX. & her husband, Daniel; and his daughter, Johnna Bohannon of Flower Mound, TX. & her husband, John; step-son, Ricky Carpenter of Mesquite & his wife, Kay & daughter, Tiffany; and his 9 grandchildren, Camra (& husband, D.J.), Amelia, Ranger, Cooper, Cutter, Daniel, Neal, Maggie & Bowie and many relatives and dear friends. Raymond was very devoted first and foremost to his Lord & Savior Jesus Christ.Raymond was honored to have served as an airman in the United States Navy and to have served his community as a police officer for the Dallas Police Department's Tactical Unit for 24 years, retiring in 1984. Service will be 1:00PM Monday February 13, 2006 at New Hope Funeral Home.
