Raymon Windham was born January 15, 1928 and passed away on September 1, 2015. He was preceded in death by two sons; Rodney and Thomas (Tom). Raymon is survived by his wife Lillian Windham, one sister, Glenda Tucker of Brownwood, Texas, one grandson, T.J. Windham of Biloxi, Mississippi, two brothers-in-law, Luther Martin and Harley Martin and one sister-in-law, Lola Bee Cherry and many nieces, nephews and extended family and many, many friends. Raymon was a very energetic entrepreneur, always seeking for higher opportunities. He married the love of his life on October 14, 1945. They enjoyed 69 years, 10 months, 18 days of togetherness. Raymon's military duty took him virtually around the world.He served during WWII and the Korean and Vietnam Wars.He reached the rank of Tech Sgt.He was honorably discharged, and retired in 1975 after 20 plus years of service.He earned many medals for his dedicated commitment to the country he loved so much. Raymon was a true servant of the Lord.He graduated from Southwestern Assemblies of God University. He was an ordained minister and pastored churches in Germany during his military duty. Family will receive friends Thursday, September 3rdfrom 5:00pm - 7:00pm at New Hope Funeral Home, Sunnyvale, TX.Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 4th at 10:00am at Calvary Temple Assembly of God, 3150 South Beltline Rd., Balch Springs, TX.Interment will be at Eastlawn Memorial Park, Early, TX.
