Ray Bryan Shafer

Raymond “Ray” Bryan Shafer born on July 22, 1947 passed away peacefully in his home on May 22, 2015.He loved fishing, hunting and spending quality time outside with family and friends. Employed at AWC-Inc .Which was his “dream job”. Preceded in death by his father George Raymond Shafer. Survived by his wife Tammy Diane Shafer of 28 years. Sons, Raymond Bryan Shafer II and wife Latisha Sammy Joe Winstead and wife Misty Daughter, Olivia Shafer Lopez and husband Gilberto Grandchildren: Jordan Shafer, Haleigh Layman, Alexander Layman, Mason Layman, Liam Winstead, and expected in August Raylan Lopez. Parents: Mother Thelma Joe Guimonds and Step father Edward Thomas ; Stepmother Bernice Ruby Shafer. Siblings: Gary D. Shafer, Richard L. Shafer, Sharon P. Harlen; adopted siblings James Guimonds, and Meloney Salvato. Numerous nieces and nephews. Ray will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and dear friend.He was deeply loved by all whose lives he touched.
