Phillip Wayne Weeks Sr. known as Texas Taz by many & Frijole Hauler by very few, (you should never let your step daughter write your obituary after all the pranks you pulled on her) was born December 16, 1966 & passed away April 13, 2015. Phillip was a down to earth family man who loved spending time with his wife, kids, grandkids & the rest of his extended family. He was an electrician most of his life & when he wasn't working he was out enjoying fishing, hunting & most of all race car driving & building motors. He was well known by many who swore he would help anyone & give the shirt off his back no matter the time of day or night. He never met a stranger & would often talk people's ears off. He loved to pull pranks & it was often said if he wasn't picking on you then he didn't like you. His passion for race car motors always led to a lot of phone calls asking if he could tune their motor because somehow he could always do it just by listening. He will be greatly missed by his family, racing family & friends. He is preceded in death by his father Floyd Lee Weeks Sr, his grandparents Jack Essary, Artie Mae Essary, Nora Weeks, John Weeks & his Uncle William "Bill" Essary. He is survived by his wife Peggy Weeks of 23 years, son Phillip Weeks Jr. & wife Jessica, step daughter Charli Willard & husband Joe, step son Jason Poole, step daughter Misti Burrow & husband David, grand daughter Cheyenne, step grandkids, Brittani, Chelsie, Casey, Austin, Madison, Logan & Audrey, mother Betty Weeks, brother Floyd Weeks Jr., sisters Kathy Gravely & Delores St. Clair.
