Phillip Lee Simons

Phillip Lee Simons was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on August 26, 1944, passed away on June 21,2007. Phillip joined the Marines at the age of 18 and served 10 years.He was a member of the Calvary First Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his son; Phillip Simons, Jr. and his parents; Al and Alvina Trosin. Phillip is survived by is wife of 36 years; Ann Simons, brother; Ray Simons, Sister-in-law, Gloria and husband Ron Chesser, mother and father-in-law Faye and JD Hudson, nieces; Stephanie and husband David Coleman, Ronda and husband Greg Porter; nephews, Michael & Phillip Simons; great nieces; Heather and husband Brandon Suddreth, Kristin Coleman, Jared and Elizabeth Porter. Services will be at 10:00 AM, Monday, June 25, 2007 at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 E. Hwy 80, Sunnyvale, Texas, 75182.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, June 24, 2007 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Interment will be at the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery at 1:30 on Monday, June 25, 2007.
