Peter Raymond LaPointe, Jr . March 5, 1955 " May 28, 2011 Peter Raymond LaPointe, Jr., former United States Marine, beloved husband and father answered Gods call to journey onward and receive his heavenly reward. He reported for active angel duty May 28, 2011. Pete was born March 5, 1955 to parents Peter Raymond LaPointe, Sr. and wife Dorothy Thelma LaPointe in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Pete LaPointe was employed at Capital Title of Texas as Plant Manager since March 15, 2005. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps and considered it one of his proudest accomplishments. He believed with unwavering certainty that Once a Marine, Always a Marine . As President Ronald Regan said Some people wonder all their lives if theyve made a difference. The Marines dont have that problem . He was a hero on and off of the battlefield. Pete devoted his life to taking care of everyone who needed him and always put the well being of others above himself. To anyone who met Pete, he made them feel an immediate connection. To his close friends, there was a lifelong commitment and bond undeterred by time or distance. His sense of humor was legendary, his smile unforgettable. He brought fun and laughter to many and warmed hearts all around. Few people in life touch others lives as he did. Pete is survived by his wife, Carla Sue LaPointe, son Jesse Wolfe and wife Erin Wolfe, daughter Amanda Geline Spinks and husband Russell Spinks, son Marshall Taylor LaPointe and grandson Joseph Wolfe. He was also survived by his brother Alvin LaPointe and sister Carol Reames, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Pete was predeceased in his journey by his parents and by his brother David LaPointe, sister Sharon Dodge and brother Paul LaPointe. Pete blessed his family with boundless love and devotion far beyond description in mere words. Cherished and protected, loved beyond earthly bounds. In the words of Pete: Semper Fi!
