It is with heavy hearts that we announce the calling home of Pearlie May (Gaston) Reeve. Pearl was born in Dallas, Texas on December 7, 1949, the youngest of seven children to parents John and Floy Gaston. She attended school in Dallas and though she only completed the 8th grade, she found the courage to return to school and receive her GED in November of 1998. She held multiple positions in her field of data entry and claims adjusting over the years, but no title was more dear to her heart than that of devoted wife and loving mother. She leaves behind a legacy of love and care that is shown through the actions of everyone she ever encountered.
Pearl is survived by her husband of 47 years, Robert L. Reeve; sons, Robert A. Reeve, and Joshua Jacobs; brother, Johnny Gaston; sister and brother-in-law, Molly and Roy Fletcher; nephew, David Fletcher and wife Theresa; niece, Jill Bramlett and husband Buddy; and niece, Sandy Hammonds and husband Buddy.
She is preceded in death by her father, John Gaston; mother, Floy Gaston; sister, Joyce Gaston; brother, Lowell Gaston; sister, Dorothy Camp; and sister, Mary Neal.
A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm on Friday, January 17 at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, TX. The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 18, 2025 also at New Hope Funeral Home.
