Paula Ann Sipe

June 9, 1956 — January 11, 2009

Paula Ann Brent was born to a large and loving family on June 9, 1956 in Baltimore, MD. She added to her already dynamic family by being fun-loving and daring. Paula graduated from Hereford High School in 1975 and met the love of her life Richard A. Sipe. They married and immediately began their own family. After having two daughters, RaKay and Rachel, they moved to Texas in 1983 to begin a new adventure. While in Texas, Paula fully committed her life to Jesus Christ. She found her true calling by serving as a childcare provider and working with children in varying degrees as a Vacation Bible School organizer, Sunday School Teacher and Childrens Director for the First Church of the Nazarene in Mesquite. She was also able to reach out and share her life, love, and faith with others as both a Mary Kay Director and a cancer patient. Her battle with cancer began in 1994 and finally ended on the morning of January 11, 2009 when she was called home to be with her Lord and Savior. Paula will live on forever in our hearts and memories as a loving daughter, caring sister, loyal friend, dependable woman, free spirit, prayer warrior, dedicated teacher, kind provider, righteous follower, outspoken leader, devoted wife, amazing mother, and faithful child of God. Paula is preceded in death by her father, Charles H. Brent Sr. of Freeland, MD, her Grandmother, Margaret S. King of Freeland, MD, her mother-in-law, Ruth E. Sipe of Whitehall, MD, and brother-in-law, Ronald Rosier of Hereford, MD. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Richard Anthony Sipe of Dallas, TX, her children, RaKay and Timothy Nix of Forney, TX, and Rachel and Ricky Riggs of Mesquite, TX, her grandchildren, Ethan Riggs and Kennedy Riggs, her mother Esther K. Brent of Freeland, MD, her siblings, Sharon and Richard Barton of Red Lion, PA, Patricia Garvin of Kaufman, TX, Charles Jr. and Kathleen Brent of Seven Valleys, PA, Alan Brent of Freeland, MD, Donna Barton of Parkton, MD, Peggy and Gordon Markel of York, PA, Larry Entler of Sparks, MD, Carol and Daniel Robinson of Freeland, MD, Norman and Joan Brent of Mt.
