Paul Stemmons Talley

TALLEY, Paul Stemmons of Mesquite, born December 4, 1959, passed away October 19, 2004. Survived by wife, Alicia Talley; daughter, Juliette Talley; mother, Eunice Talley; brother, Forrest "Dick" Talley & wife, Dellana; brother, John Talley & wife, Cathy; brother, Bubba Talley & wife, Sue; sister, Alice Williams & husband, Theril; 9 nieces & nephews and numerous other loving family & friends. Preceded in death by father, Clarence Talley & grandmother, Flora Maude Talley. He is mourned by professionals in the photography field.Pam Orr, former president of Creative Communication, who employed Paul in the mid-1980's writes, "Paul was one of the kindest, gentlest, sweetest men I ever had the privilege of working with.He was also a consummate professional, giving 110% on each of his assignments - assignments that often involved long hours and difficult travel. Many of our clients took the time to call me and tell me how much they enjoyed working with Paul - to name just a few of Sheryl Gray, director of admissions at Carson-Newman College; Jack Hullett, dean of enrollment at Augustana College; and Bob Pecchia, dean of admissions at the University of New England." "Paul's photographs were always of the highest caliber...he was quite simply, the best all-around photographer I had over the course of my 18 years at Creative Communication.His photography for us was honored numerous times with awards from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education and Admissions Marketing Report Magazine." Memorial services will be 2:00PM Saturday October 30, 2004, at the First Baptist Church of Sunnyvale, 3018 N. Belt Line Rd., Sunnyvale, Tx. with Bro. Charlie Wilson, officiating.
