Patsy Ann Spoerl

Peacefully and surrounded by family, Patsy Ann Spoerl of Dallas, Texas, passed away on March 24, 2022. 

Born in Terrell, Texas, Patsy grew up and graduated in Mesquite, Texas. She lived and worked in the Mesquite area and operated Sherwood Forest Daycare for almost 45 years. She spent her time working with children, watching grandkids and traveling. One of her favorite things to do was getting in the car with PaPa and just heading out. 

She is preceded in death by the love of her life Alvin Spoerl, her mother and father Jack and Lila Dean Morton, her brothers Sammie and Ronnie Morton.

She is survived by her sister Carole Morton, her sons and daughter in laws Mike and Candy Spoerl, Gary and Jill Spoerl, Danny and Tami Spoerl, Rusty Spoerl and Dawne Spoerl. In addition she has 11 grandchildren Andrea, Amanda, Josh, Jacob, Gary, Cody, Casey, Emilee, Andrea Lynn, Jeri Ann, and Justin. She also has 22 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren and one on the way. 

Visitation for Patsy will be Monday March 28,2022 from 6pm to 8pm at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale Texas. Funeral services will be held on March 29, 2022 at 2pm also at New Hope Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Grove Hill Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
