Patsy Jean Koonce

Koonce, Patsy Jean of Forney. On April 28, 2014 God called another Angel to be by his side. Patsy Jean Koonce was born on March 14, 1953. On February 24, 1978, Patsy Jean Koonce married Ronald Morris Koonce with whom she shared 36 wonderful years. Patsy was very loving and giving of herself. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, aunt, nana and friend Preceded in death by parents, Willie & Jean Ward; sister, Lois Dunn. Brother, Vernon Lee Ward Survived by husband Ron of 36 years, son; Manuel Gutierrez; Daughters, Michelle Koonce; Amberly Herbertson and husband Zach; grandchildren, Corby Filice , Tristan Gutierrez, Jaxson and Kaylee Herbertson and numerous other family members that loved her dearly. Service will be 10AM Thursday May 1, 2014 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Forney, and will have visitation Wednesday at New Hope funeral home in Sunnyvale from 6PM-8PM
