Patsy Ann Forsythe passed into Glory on October 21, 2022 after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She was born on December 8, 1938, in Sherman, Texas, the daughter of Mary Jane and John Robert Mitchell.
Patsy graduated from Bells High School, where she made countless friends and memories. Patsy married the love of her life, Herbert Allen Forsythe, Jr., in 1959. Patsy was a proud Veteran's wife and she and Al later had two children. Patsy eventually went on to be a loving and incredible Goggy to her beloved grandchildren. She was a faithful member of her church, and loved her family with all of her heart.
In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by one brother, John Arthur, and 2 sisters, Dorothy Stephens and Jane Coder. Patsy is survived by her Husband, Herbert (Al) Forsythe, daughter Sherri and son-in-law Kyle Fortenberry, son, Robert and daughter-in-law Liz Forsythe, grandchildren Heather and Brandon Beaty, Erika Fortenberry, Elizabeth Callen, and Josh and Chris Law, sister, Margaret Weber and countless cousins, nieces and nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 25, from 6-8 pm at New Hope Funeral Home at 500 E. US 80, in Sunnyvale, Texas.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 26, at 12 pm at Calvary Hill Baptist Church at 3300 LaPrada Dr., Mesquite, Tx. Those who wish to remember Patsy in a special way may make gifts in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association in lieu of flowers.
A private burial will take place at a later date at the DFW Veteran's Cemetery in Dallas, Tx.
