The Sweet, Loving Jewel of our family has gone on to be with the Lord and her first love, our Dad.Yvette, Vet, momma Vet, Aunt Vet, Yvette, will be mourned and missed so much.Her heart was as big as she was. Her love for family and life is never ending. Her struggle to stay here gave in to the pain and she slipped away to be eternally with Jesus, December 12, 2019. Preceded in death by Father, George Shirey. Survived by roommate of 30+ years, Joseph Wilson. Mother, Lou Alice Shirey. Brother, LaDon Shirey andwife Carol Shirey Sisters, Kim Watkins, Lynn Lewis. Nephews and Nieces, David Allen and Jenny Allen, Shawn Allen and Amanda Allen, James Lewis, David Cunningham. Great Nephews, Christian Dear-Allen, Tyler Allen, Chandler Towsend, Austin Allen. Great nieces, Hannah Townsend, Parker Allen. Yvette was the oldest child, she had great love for family.She was baptized in the Corner Stone Church. Family and friends knew if they needed her, she would do everything in her power to help.Yvette had the softest heart a person could have.She would feed the stay animals before she would even eat, she was the same with people if they didn't have anything to eat, she fed them and give them a place to sleep. She would often be fussed at for giving her last blankets to the homeless under the bridges, she would say, she couldn't live with herself it she didn't help someone if she had it to give.She had more Love in her little finger too give, than most people could experience in a life time.This world has lost a great treasure,there is a void that can’t be replaced.She love Jesus and wasn’t afraid to tell you about what He had done for her. John 15:11-13, "I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and your joy may be complete.12 This is my commandment: love one another as I love you. 13 * No one has greater love than this, to lay down one's life for one's friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command you.
