Patricia Sue Dennis

Patricia Sue McNaron Dennis was born July 8, 1933 in Birmingham, AL and passed away on September 12, 2016 in Mesquite, TX, at the age of 83. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert Sparkman McNaron and Ollie Dora Shockley McNaron; brothers Robert Abner McNaron and wife Florence Crow McNaron; Luther Shockley McNaron; sister Margaret McNaron Bobo and husband James Bobo. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Donald Eugene Dennis, Sr.;sons, Robert Steven Dennis of Mesquite, TX, Donald Eugene Dennis, Jr. and wife Denise Karen Moret Dennis of Hockley, TX, and David Mitchell Dennis and wife Traci Akers Dennis ofJersey Village, TX; granddaughters, Kelly Marie Dennis Shearer and husband, Andrew, of London, England; Angela Nicole Dennis Allen, her husband Benjamin Allen of Cypress, TX and Stacy Leigh Dennis of Hockley, TX.Great Grandsons, Easton Cade Allen and Shade Oliver Allen; cousins Carlton Wright and Jane McNaronof Columbia, TN, and Sara Doss; nieces Barbara Sue Bobo Babers and husband Jimmy, Cindi Bobo Mullins and husband Greg and too many friends to mention. I want my family and friends to know that each one had a special place in my life. Patricia graduated from Oxford High School, Oxford, AL in 1951.She met her future husband during the last year of school.They were married December 27, 1953 at Parker Memorial Baptist Church, Anniston, AL, with Brother Gaddis Roy officiating. Over the years her “employment” included being a wife and mother first.She also worked as a secretary with Garland Road and Highland Oaks Churches of Christ and in real estate sales. She accepted Christ as her Savior at the age of 14 and began her walk with Him. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Christian Care Center Hospice program or charity of your choice. A Celebration of Life service in memory of Pat Dennis will be held Saturday, October 22, 2016 beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the Christian Care Senior Living Community auditorium located at 1000 Wiggins Parkway, Mesquite, Texas 75150
