Orville Eugene "Mac" McGuffey

Orville Eugene McGuffey "Mac" of Caddo Mills, TX. born February 22, 1931 in Dallas, TX. passed away September 1, 2011 in Caddo Mills, TX. He graduated from Crozier Tech High School in 1949. He attended El Centro College. He was a Master Mason since 1951. Mac was a member of the Scottish Rite Bodies and Past Potentate of Hella Shrine in 2003. He was also a member of Red Cross of Constitine. He served several years on the Board of Governors for the Shrine Hopsital of Houston, TX. Mac was preceded in death by his parents: H.G. McGuffey, Sr. and Inez Marie McGuffey, brother: H.G. McGuffey, grandson: JohnPage. He is survived by lovely wife: Joan McGuffey, daughters: MyraShort & Mary McGuffey, Nicholas Tanner Page,Mike & Pam Potter, Ed &Diane Bush & Pam Cate, Tim Potter, sister: Twynette McGuffey, brothers: Ralph McGuffey & Clay McGuffey,8 grand children and 10 great children. Funeral services will be conducted in the chapel of New Hope Funeral Home 500 East Hwy 80 in Sunnyvale, TX. at 10:00 a.m. Monday September 5, 2011 with the internment to follow at New Hope Memorial Gardens.
