Odis Ray Lemons

LEMONS, Odis "Ray" of Rockwall, born December 19, 1936, passed away after a long battle with cancer on June 4, 2008. Born and raised in Dallas, TX; a 1954 graduate of Forest High School; graduate of North Texas State University; founder and owner of AACA Parts & Supplies.He was a charter member and deacon of Friendship Baptist Church in Mesquite, Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Vernelle; parents, O. O. & Pearl Lemons.Survived by wife, Fredda Lemons; daughter, Loyce Wheeler & husband, Rodney; son, Brad Lemons & wife, Sharon, Scott Phillips & wife, Stephanie, Kendall Phillips & wife, Catherine; grandchildren, Nic Hamilton & wife, Shawne, Hannah Guy & husband, Trey, Brittany Avery, Jordan, Haley & Taylor Lemons, Rhianna, Marissa & Summer Phillips; great grandchild, Cash Hamilton; brother, Billy Lemons & wife, Novis; numerous nieces and nephews. Service will be 10:00AM Saturday June 7, 2008 at Friendship Baptist Church, 820 Pioneer Rd., Mesquite, TX. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00PM - 8:00PM.
