Novis Lemons

LEMONS, Novis May (Puckett) of Terrell, Texas, born May 2, 1933 passed away January 6, 2018 at the age of 84.She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church for 64 years, a graduate of Garland High School and a faithful follower of SGMA. Novis is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Lemons of 54 years; parents: Arthur and Ida Puckett; brother, Eldred Puckett; sister, Wanda McCrury and grandson, Brandon Lemons. Novis is survived by 2 sons: Billy Paul Lemons and wife Dianne, David Lemons and wife Leslie; 6 grandchildren: Kristi Cequina and husband Walter, Darren Lemons and wife Becky, Shannon Anderson and husband Chris, Natalie Cox and husband Bryan, Brittany Galloway and husband Preston, Blake Lemons; 13 great grandchildren: Celise Lemons, Madison, Jackson and Kennedy Cequina, Daylen and Jase Lemons, River and Laiken Anderson, Easton and Everett Cox, Gentrie, Glenlee and Gage Galloway; sister, Margaret Kirby, brother, Leonard Puckett and many relatives and a host of friends. Service will be at 10:00AM Wednesday January 10, 2018 at Friendship Baptist Church 820 Pioneer Rd. Mesquite, Texas.Family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday January 9 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at New Hope Funeral Home, Sunnyvale, Texas. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to the singing and evangelistic ministry of The Irwins, P.O. Box 996, Edgewood, Texas 75117-0996 in memory of Novis Lemons.
