Norma Francis “Sansy” Tramel of Mesquite, TX passed away on November 24, 2021 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.
A celebration of Life service celebrating Sansy’s life will be help Thursday December 2, 2021 at New Hope Funeral Home at 2:00pm.
Sansy was born on June 9, 1945 in Dallas, TX to Huey Lois and Gladys (Fowler) Roach. She graduated from W.W. Samuell in 1963.
Sansy was an avid reader who enjoyed all types of books. She was also a devoted gardener. She loved being outside not only working in her flower beds but also sharing all variation of her plants with everyone.
Sansy loved western art. She collected many prints, bronze statues and painted ponies.
Sansy had a thriving career at Dal-Tile for over 30 years. She made many life-long friends over the years. She enjoyed the time she spent traveling for the company.
Surviving are her daughters Angie Nava of Mesquite and Kim Carney of Wills Point; grandsons Justin Smith, Jeremy Smith, Jordan Nava, Colby Carney and Landon Plant; grand daughters Maddison Carney and Kyndall Plant; great granddaughter Kylee Smith and great grandson Zaydyn Randall.
Also surviving are her sisters Rosie McMillin and Sandra Killingsworth, brother-in-law Billy Killingsworth, brother Sonny Roach along with many nieces and nephews.
Sansy was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Buddy Roach, Duey Roach, Danny Roach and sister Jimmie Lois Roach.
