Norma Faye Shortnacy, born on July 25, 1924 in Wilbarger county, TX, went to her eternal home on January 6, 2019 in Mesquite, TX. She was preceded in death by husband Ray Tompkins, and husband Luis Shortnacy; parents, Joe Ryan and Lena Skipworth Ryan; brother, Billy Joe Ryan; and son, Derrell Tompkins. She is survived by her children:Karen Walzel and husband Mike, Ray Tompkins, and Larry Tompkins and wife Diane. She is also survived by three grandchildren:Jamie Walzel, April Hill and husband Tony, and Billie Jean Darling; and 7 great-grandchildren. Her sister, Glenda Nichols and husband Bobby survive her and numerous nieces and nephews.
