Nolan Fansler

August 22, 1996 — March 20, 2024

Nolan William Fansler, age 27, went to be with the Lord on March 20,2024. Nolan was born August 22, 1996 in Plano, Texas. He was a vibrant child with a smile that would light up a room.  He never knew a stranger and was always there with an open heart and a helping hand.

 

Nolan had an instant love for baseball and attended his first game at 3 weeks old, which happened to be the retiring of his namesake's number (Nolan Ryan). His love of baseball grew as he did, along with his love of the Bible by memorizing books and verses at a young age. He carried his love of baseball into high school and college. He graduated with Raider pride from Sunnyvale High School in 2015 after being a huge part of the football, baseball, & Daybreak choir programs.

 

Nolan went on to college with a full scholarship to play baseball and grow in his love of scripture at Oklahoma Wesleyan University. Nolan finished his degree at Navarro College, in which during that time he discovered his love as a firefighter. While completing his firefighter training, he began working at the Ovilla Fire Department. Once Nolan completed his Firefighter/EMT certification, he began a career with the Bedford Fire Department where his career soared a received many certifications along with the completion of his Paramedic Licensing which led to him becoming a full-time Paramedic with MedStar.

 

Nolan had many passions including hunting, fishing, & playing golf. He lived life with a giant heart and an infectious smile.

 

Nolan is survived by His wife, Tristen; his father, Jason Fansler and wife Stefani; his mother, Nicki Coelho and husband Marc; his brother, Dylan Fansler and wife Paige; his younger brothers, Justin and Tucker Fansler; step-sisters, Brittany Mumblo and Rylee Coelho; his grandparents, Jerry & Judy Dillon, Cathy Kapsa, Dennis & Angie Cash; niece, nephews and numerous aunts, uncles & cousins. He has also left behind many friends who loved him dearly.  He will be missed by all.

 

The funeral service for Nolan Fansler will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at New Hope Funeral Home - 

500 E. US Highway 80, Sunnyvale, TX 75182.

Visitation will be at 1:00 PM and burial will follow at New Hope Memorial Gardens.


In lieu of flowers please donate to the “Share the Load” program for first responders at 888-275-6832 in Nolan’s honor.


The family is asking for those attending services to wear Nolan’s favorite attire of boots &

jeans or Royal blue.
