Nick Mackaly,

Mackaly, Jr., Nick of Mesquite, born April 14, 1954, passed away August 2, 2010. Born in Dallas and raised in Mesquite. Married his high school sweetheart on July 7, 1972. Devoted Christian, son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend. Following family, Nick's passion, talent, gift and ability for custom automotive painting proved him to be a renowned cornerstone of the street rod community. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by Nick Mackaly, Sr. Survived by wife, of 38 years,Linda Mackaly; children, Angela Lamb & husband, Tim of Mesquite, Melissa Mack & husband, Jon of Sunnyvale; grandchildren, Micah Mackaly, Haylen Lamb, Alexander Lamb; mother & step-father, Jean Mackaly-Homelson & husband, Joe; 2 sisters, Sandra Williams & husband, Tommy of St. Louis, MO., Janis Bomar & husband, Bryan of Katy, TX; several nieces and nephews. Service will be 10:00AM Thursday August 5, 2010 at Family Cathedral of Praise, 790 Windbell Circle, Mesquite, TX. 75149. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00PM " 9:00PM.
