Nestor Trevino Gamez

Nestor Trevino Gamez, born on February 26, 1927 to Arcadio and Juanita Gamez, passed away on July 28, 2007 at his home in Mesquite. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Valrie Gamez and his children; son, Junior Gamez and wife Janet; daughter, Kathy Cox and husband Wayne, daughter, Lisa Wear and husband Raymond; daughter, Debbie Oliver and husband Olie, daughter Cynthia Hubbard.Also survived by brother, Felipe Gamez; sisters, Sofia Benavides and Frances Diaz; 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. Nestor was a World War II veteran with a victory medal.He was very active in his church and enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching the Dallas Cowboys.Loved spending time with his family. Services will be Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of New Hope Funeral Home, 500 E. Hwy 80, Sunnyvale, Texas, 75182. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 30, 2007 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home.
