Nellie Collier Stone born August 13, 1923 passed away on April 27, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years George Wallace Stone; parents, Walter and Abbie Collier; brother, Louie Collier; sisters, Vada, Cora Mae, Estelle, Olabell, Walterene; niece, Charlotte Beene Goss. Nellie is survived by her stepson, Mickey L. Stone; cousins, Perins Collier, Betty Jane Dempe, JoDon Bassham, E. Collier Jr.; childhood friends, Evelyn Camp, Bessie Cavitt; nephews, Gerald Lindel Beene, Frank Wade Beene; nieces, Madelyn Beene, Abigail Beene Dean; great nieces, Abigail Russell, Audrey Dean, Emily Dean, great nephew, Michael Beene; great great nephews, Jonathan, Joseph, Jacob. She retired from Republic National Life after 45 years. Her hobbies included growing roses and she was a great cook. Funeral services will be 1:00PM Wednesday May 1, 2013 at New Hope Funeral Home 500 E. Hwy 80 Sunnyvale, Texas 75182. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6PM " 8PM.
