Nancy Susan Nance

Nancy Susan Burzinski Nance, 62, of Corsicana, Texas died Tuesday May 24,2017 after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Nancy was born on June 17, 1954 in Parsons, Kansas to Stephen and Mary M. (Margie) Johnston Burzinski. She attended St. Patrick’s schools and graduated from Parsons High School in 1972. She married her husband, Arthur (Ray) Nance on October 12, 1974. The couple had two children, Kurtis Ray and Rebecca (Becky) Dawn. Nancy spent her life caring for children until her MS made this impossible. Nancy loved her family above all else and loved to spend time with them, especially her granddaughter Madison. She will be remembered for her positive outlook, wit, and especially her sense of humor. Nancy is survived by her husband, Ray of Corsicana, son Kurtis & wife Melisa, daughter, Becky and granddaughter, Madison. Brother Stephen and wife Trina of Oklahoma City, OK, Brother Bob and wife Pam of Parsons, KS, sister Marianne Brown and husband Larry of Garland, TX, sister Janie Sprague & husband Ted of Oswego, KS, sister Judi Collins & husband Sherman of Erie, KS, Sister Martha Westhoff and husband Rob of Parsons, KS, brother Bernard and wife Jane of Overland Park, KS, brother Jerry of Kansas City, MO, and Sister Rosie Breneman and husband Chris of Hot Springs, AR as well as numerous nieces and nephew. She was preceded in death by her mother and father. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
