Nancy Ann Girardot

It is with great sorrow the family of Nancy Ann Sammons Girardot announces her passing on May 20, 2012 after a long battle with Alzheimers. She was born in Murray, Kentucky on November 28, 1934, the seventh of the eight children of John Thomas Sammons and Margret Lois Ross. Nancy spent her entire childhood in Murray and graduated from Murray State University in 1955. She was married to Dean Girardot in 1962 and had two children, Stan Girardot and Dina Girardot. She was preceded in passing by her daughter Dina, her two sisters Hazel Crenshaw, Rachael Winograd and her three brothers Thomas Sammons, John Sammons and Jean Paul Sammons. Nancy was a loving wife and the grandmother of Ryan Girardot and Reagan Girardot. She is survived by her husband Dean Girardot, son Stan Girardot and sisters Lois Sullivan and Sara Vaughn. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting a donation be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
