Nancy Elizabeth Abb was born May 15, 1958 in Sherman, Texas.She passed away on September 27, 2003 in Richardson, Texas. Nancy is survived by her beloved daughter, Stephanie Nicole Banker, age 19, her siblings, Steve Abb and wife Donna of Bentonville, Arkansas, and sisters Susie Priore of Dallas, and Robin Abb of Boulder, Colorado. She is also survived by her nephews Sam Mulroy of Dallas, and Mike Abb of Fort Worth, and her niece, Katy Priore, of Dallas, her Uncle Dick Abb of Appleton, Wisconsin and his wife, Marge and their many children and her well-loved, one-eyed horse, Leon, a resident of the Black Beauty Ranch in East Texas. Nancy will be sorely missed by her family and her many friends.She had a lifelong love of the outdoors and was an accomplished horseback rider.Nancy loved fast motorcycles, fly fishing and gardening.She was a fabulous cook and hostess with a heart as open as her kitchen. Nancy was the former special events coordinator for Trinity Industries and the Kent Waldrep Foundation.The last gala event for the Waldrep Foundation, which Nancy handled, was the most successful in its history. Nancy will be remembered as a generous, compassionate, sweet, and fun-loving person with a deep sense of spirituality and love of God, her family, and nature. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Alex Abb Lewis, her parents, Bob and Maggie Abb, and her aunt and mentor, Miss Gene Loop. Memorials may be made to a college trust fund for Stephanie Banker that has been set up at the First American Bank on Lovers Lane and Inwood Road. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Saint Joseph's Church, 600 S. Jupiter Rd. ,(corner of Spring Valley and Jupiter) in Richardson, Texas on Friday, October 3rd at 2 p.m, conducted by Monsignor Don Fisher.
