Myrtle Mae Irons

Myrtle Mae Irons was born on July 1, 1917 in Upshur, County, Texas to Grover and Maggie Camp. She passed away on August 7, 2009. Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Vernon Irons; brothers: Otis Camp, James Camp, Wayne Camp; sisters: Rachel Paetz, Marie Lowe, Betty Childress. She is survived by daughters: Alice Listebarger and husband Ronnie, Dorothy Irons, and Faye Irons; son, Charles Irons and wife Betty; grandchildren: Karin Wortham and husband Steve, Sandi Gray and husband Jimmy, Jeff Lisle and wife Heather, Marc Irons and wife Jody, Charles Wayne & wife, Lorraine, Jerry Don and Larry Irons, Betty Edwards and Daniel Irons and wife Amber. Also survived by great grandchildren: Ben,Sam, and Brittney Wortham, Matthew Gray, Kale Terry, Colin and Olivia Lisle, Amber and Kara Irons, Joyce, Brittney and Cody Edwards; sisters, Doris Emrick and Wilma Taylor and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be Monday, August 10, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Enon Cemetery in Gilmer, Texas. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, August 9, 2009 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
