Molly Faye Moore

MOORE, Molly, Faye (Memaw) of Forney, Tx. passed to be with our Heavenly Father on January 16, 2003 at the age of 76. She was born in Rusk, Tx. on June 28, 1926 to Burton & Geraldine Long.She was raised and attended school in Rusk, Tx. She married Russell Travis Moore (DOB 12/16/19) on October 31, 1947 at the age of 21.Of this marriage came 5 children; Lynne Elaine Craft, Juanita Yvonne Moore, David Russell Moore (all of Mesquite, TX.), Boyd Franklin Moore, and James Allen Moore (both of Dallas, Tx.). She was a sweet & loving wife, mother and homemaker.Russell & Faye were married for 25 years before divorcing in 1972.Russell Travis Moore passed away on August 25, 1974. In 1966, Faye was employed by Fitting Valve Co. in Dallas, Tx. for 15 years before retiring in 1981.Her final retirement stop was Forney, Tx. Along with her 5 children, she leaves behind 3 sisters; Ruth Beal of Corpus Christi, Tx., June Phillips of Longview, Tx., and Shirley Dust of Pocahontas, Ar.She has 4 grandchildren; Bobby Dale Craft, Lynette Henson (both of Mesquite, Tx.), Shannon Seymour of Kaufman, Tx., and Todd James Moore of Forney, Tx.She also has 6 great grandchildren; Arron John Lumsden of Mesquite, Tx., Jerry "J J" Eugene Lumsden III of Rockwall, Tx., Brittni Sable Clarkson, Haley Carol Clarkson (both of Kaufman, Tx.), Lauren Michelle Craft, and Lindsey Dawn Craft (both of Mesquite, Tx.)She leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. We will miss her smiling face and loving personality.She was a wonderful and virtuous woman who carried great dignity and pride.She was strong and independent.May all of these qualities be passed on to those she knew and loved. Services will be at 9:00 am on Monday, January 20, 2003.The family will be carrying the ashes of Molly Faye Moore (Memaw) to Rusk, Tx. after the services.Friends and family are invited.
