Mireya Rangel, of Mesquite, Texas, passed away on October 12, 2022 at the age of 40. She was born on August 31, 1982 to parents Lorenzo Rangel and Micaela Salazar in San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
Mireya worked many years for Dallas Children's Hospital and later owned and operated a business in landscaping and setting up Christmas lights.
She loved many things in life including cookouts with her family, going to the lake, and special gatherings with her mother, sisters, and especially her grandchildren.
Since the age of 15, Mireya was known as a hard worker. And as a single mother, she wanted to provide for her children hoping to give them a better life. Her greatest desire was to see her children graduate and become successful in life as well as see her grandchildren be born.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lorenzo Rangel; grandmothers, Esther Silos and Feliciana Garcia.
She is survived by her husband, Hugo Meneses; mother, Micaela Salazar; sisters, Minerva Rangel, Maria Yudhit Crispin, Merlin Reyes Rangel, Angelina Acosta, and Yuli Rangel; brothers, Jorge Omar Rangel, Ivan Miranda, Smith Rangel, Francisco Rangel, and Jose Angel Acosta; grandfather, Juan Rangel; uncle, Silvestre Rangel Silos; children, Arili Renteria, Fernando Renteria, Jr., Valdemar Renteria, and Rene Alexis Renteria; grandchildren, Yareli Mireya Rangel, Sofia Lorena Medrano, Edgar Medrano, Jr., Hugo Sebastian Gonzalez.
