She was born June 07, 1924 in Kopperl, TX to Charlie Womath Doty andAva Arizona Webb Doty. She married Joseph Wesley Rosenquist on April 18th, 1942 in Meridian, TX. Mildred became a pastor's wife shortly after their marriage and gave birth to Beverly and Shirley Rosenquist. Shortly after her marriage to Joe he surrendered to the calling on his life to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. Although Mildred never desired or sought to be in the spotlight she preferred to servealong-side of her loving and devoted husband in the ministry. Her walk with Christwas the most important priority in her life, along with the pastoral duties as a preacher's wife and being a loving mother to her girls. Her passion was serving Jesus, reading her bible, surprise visits from family and friends, watching epic sermons preached by well known pastors and Turner Classic movies. She looked forward to seeing her grandchildren, attending birthday parties and holidays with her family. Her legacy will be remembered as an example that represents Proverbs 31 to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was indeed in every sense a strong woman of faith that feared God. Mildred no doubt spoiled her 5 grandchildren, Jackie, Tammy, Crystal, Brady and Wes.She always told the story that Joe was as much to blame as she was.If you don't believe it just ask them. “In closing I would like to add that Mildred had looked forward and longed for the day Jesus would call her home.” – caregiver, Normie Tumey. She was preceded in physical to death to eternal life by her husband who died on September 22, 2009 and her two wonderful daughters,Beverly in 2005 and daughter Shirley in 2010.What a glorious reunion day it was on Saturday June 13th, 2020 be forever united in the arms ofJesus and her beautiful family.
