Michael Lee Whitney

Michael Lee Whitney born April 30, 1956 in Germany passed away on August 31, 2020 in Terrell at the age of 64. Mike graduated from Palatka South High School in Florida, continued his studies at St. Johns River State College and served in the Navy as an air traffic controller until medically discharged. He worked his way up to become a computer programming consultant traveling across the United States for many large corporations all while being a single father of two. During his life Mike gave and loved more than most people do in a lifetime and never hardened his heart despite any hardships.

Mike will be lovingly remembered by his two children Kenneth and Jennifer and his six grandchildren Jaxson, Cameron, Caden, Breanna, Weston and Brooklyn, brother Eli, nephew Chris and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Christine, father Kenneth and grandson Corbin. Family will be having a private celebration of life at a later date.
