Michael Edward Watley Michael Watley, 62,passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2020. Michael was born in September, 1957 in Killeen, TX to the late Edwina (Thogmartin) and Henry Matthew Watley. He is survived by his two older siblings: Ronald Watley and Mary Rupkalvis. Michael is survived by his wife Anne, and two sons, Joshua and Christopher. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law Danielle and his granddaughter Charlotte. Michael graduated Killeen High School in 1976 and then received a certificate in Computer Science from Control Data Institute in 1980. He became a computer developer after graduation for his entire career. The last 28 years of his career were for the same company, initially known as Systems Center and now known as Altran. Michael loved to watch sports, and was a giant fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, and the University of Texas Longhorns football. He loved to attend his sons' soccer games and other sporting events as they grew up. Michael loved animals, especially his current dog Ginger, and enjoyed long walks both with and without the dog. He loved to travel with his wife, and frequently visited Las Vegas, various national parks, and family. His most favorite travel destination was to see his granddaughter in Massachussetts. He took many photographs of his travels and enjoyed sharing and printing them. He enjoyed reading about World War 2. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Michael E.
